Queue Properties

Select the queue to change by highlighting it. Choose Properties from the Queue menu or double-click on the queue name to show the queue tabs.

Fax Service

This option sends FormTrap documents as faxes using Windows Fax Service.

Windows Fax Service requires the fax configuration in Microsoft® Fax Console. Instead of a fax machine, you can use a modem and scanner to send or receive faxes from your computer. The modem and scanner have no specific requirements.

Windows Fax Service is usually activated for specific documents using Associated File entries or used as a default option that may be overridden by the Associated File.

Click Add New, Edit or Delete button to change the recipient lists.

Click the More button to configure Fax Service settings and cover page.

Fax Service Options

In the Settings tab, enter sender information Sender name, Sender department and Sender company.

Three options are provided by Schedule: Immediately, Off peak and At specified time (Date and Time required).

Notify informs the sender about the delivery by selecting a notification method and Email address. The available notification methods are:

In the Cover Page tab,

Select a pre-prepared cover page from the Cover Page menu.

  • Click "..." button to browse the cover page for Windows Fax Service. To create a fax cover page, go to Start - All Programs - Accessories - Communications - Fax - Fax Cover Page Editor.

     
  • To add a default message to the cover page, either enter directly into the Message Text Area or check Load from file to select a text file from your machine.

    Note: Cover pages are more normally supplied as Associated File entries.
