FTSpooler Enterprise supports three specialised notification programs used in conjunction with queue processing; Mail Notify, Fax Notify and Esker Notify. These are defined in the Auto run tab of the FTSpooler Server Administration Console.

Dependency: Fax Notify and Esker Notify require the Mail Notify program.

Mail Notify sends an SMTP email notification when requested via the Notify tab of Queue properties (using the Queue Administrator client).

Fax Notify works in conjunction with the Windows Fax Service and sends an SMTP email notification of fax transmission status when requested via the Fax Service tab of Queue Properties (using the Queue Administrator client).

Esker Notify works in conjunction with the Esker Fax Service and sends an SMTP email notification of fax transmission status when requested via the Esker tab of Queue Properties (using the Queue Administrator client). Notification can be on success, failure or both.
