Loading and updating the FormTrap Forms

After making changes to your forms in FTDesign, the load (.ASC) file needs to be reloaded into the appropriate data folder.

To update the data folder:

  • Choose Load forms from the Data menu.
  • The Load forms into data folder dialog will appear. By default, your load file folder is in C:\Program Files\TCGIS\FTDesign\Load Files\, otherwise you may check the ASC file location in FTDesign Tools - Options - Folder tab - Built Projects.
  • Choose the appropriate data folder from the Data folder drop down menu at the bottom of the dialog box.
  • Select the appropriate ASC file from your computer.

  • Click OK to complete reloading process.
  • FTSpooler will inform you whether the new ASC file has been successfully loaded or failed.
