Select the queue to change by highlighting it. Choose Properties from the Queue menu or double-click on the queue name to show the queue tabs.
WinFaxPRO

WinFaxPRO is included for existing customers and is no longer sold.

WinFaxPRO has not been updated for (but runs under) Windows 2000 and does not run on later Windows releases.

This option allows sending of FormTrap documents as faxes using WinFaxPRO. WinFaxPRO attributes have been set according to the WinFaxPRO FormTrap Knowledge Base documents see www.formtrap.com.

WinFaxPRO can be used to deliver a copy of all documents for a particular queue to a fixed recipient or a set of recipients. This may be done to consolidate a copy of all documents in the hands of for example, the company purchasing officer, but the standard delivery of documents using WinFaxPRO is unlikely.

WinFaxPRO is usually activated for specific documents using Associated File entries or used as a default option that may be overridden by the Associated File.

Click the Add New, Edit or Delete button to change the recipient lists.

WinFax Options

In the Settings tab, enter the default subject line in the Subject text field, however, this is normally overwritten by the Associated file entry. The subject entry is ignored if no cover page is generated.

  • High resolution - provides high resolution on fax jobs.

  • Delete after send - the job will be automatically removed after the job is sent.

  • Importance - refers to the priority of the job, default, low, normal or high.

  • Schedule - gives more options on delivery. Options available include Immediately, Hold in Output Box, Off peak and At a specific time (Date and Time required).

In the Cover Page tab, select a pre-prepared cover page from the Cover Page menu.

  • The cover pages created with WinFaxPRO are stored in C:\Program Files\Symantec\WinFax\Cover.

  • To add a default message to the cover page, either enter directly in the Message Text Area or check Load from file to select a text file from your machine.
