Using the Archives

Job Archives Guideline

FTSpooler manages two job archives and stores the results of its operation in one of them depending on whether or not the processing and delivery of the finished document is successful. To view either of these archives, select the Success Jobs Archive icon or Failed Jobs Archive icon from navigation bar on the left side of the window.

When FTSpooler archives a job it stores:

  • ID - sequential number identifying this entry.
  • Date/ Time - the date and time the job was submitted
  • Document - the file name of the incoming data (if available)
  • Queue - the queue the data was processed in
  • To - the recipient of the completed document.
  • Name(s) and Value(s) - the Associated File information.

For failed jobs, FTSpooler stores all above together with:

  • Code - an error code for the unsuccessful job.
  • Description - a description of the error code.
