FTSpooler integrates into a FormTrap production
environment to provide automated delivery of FormTrap
files as finished documents to print, email, fax or
places the input and/or formatted files in a specific location for
further processing. The finished document can also be archived
and later searched or viewed from archives. Using FTSpooler you can send a document to
its recipient by merely transmitting the file to a FTSpooler queue. FTSpooler checks for the arrival
of data, processes it with the Print Logic to produce a
FormTrap document and determines the method of delivery.
This is the FTSpooler Window for the Small Business Edition.
The Navigation Bar, located on the left side of
the FTSpooler Window, allows you to configure the Queue
settings, Data folders and manage the Successful and
Failed Jobs Archives.
You may also check recently processed jobs from the
bottom of this Window. When FTSpooler processes a data
file, information regarding the job appears, including:
The queue used to process the
data file
The name of the data file
How the data file was processed,
as icons

FormTrap Process -
Input has been processed with the FormTrap Print
Logic.
Print - FTSpooler has
delivered output to specified printer.
MAPI Process
- FTSpooler has delivered output to specified
MAPI process i.e. fax or email.
Successful Jobs Archive
- Job information has been stored in the
successful jobs archive.
Failed Jobs Archive -
Job has failed. Job information including error
message has been stored in the failed jobs
archive.
Input Filter
- Specified input filter has been used to
pre-process input
Output Filter
- Specified output filter has been used to
post-process input
Splitter Process -
Input has been processed with splitter process (ftsplit)
using the specified rule file.
Redirection
- Input has been directed to another queue.
Loop Error
- Replication threshold has been reached. No
more than 16 replications are allowed for a job.
Check your queue settings.
Write to File
- FTSpooler has written output to file.
WinFax PRO
- FTSpooler has delivered output to WinFax PRO.
NetFax - FTSpooler has
delivered output to NetFax.
Conversion
Filter - The document has been converted to
another type.
SMTP - FTSpooler has delivered output to
destinations using SMTP(e-Mail).
Windows
Fax Service -
FTSpooler has delivered output to destinations
using Windows Fax Service.
OsFax -
FTSpooler has delivered output to destinations
using OsFax.
Esker -
FTSpooler has faxed output via Esker fax
