Welcome to the FormTrap Manual for both SBE and Enterprise Versions
FormTrap provides automated delivery of FormTrap™ documents to a fax recipient, email recipient, printer, archive or database. Using FormTrap you can send a document to its recipients by merely transmitting the document data to a FormTrap queue. FormTrap is informed by Windows on the arrival of data, processes it with the Print Logic to produce a FormTrap™ document, determines the methods of delivery and archives the PDF of that document under user designated indices.
Version 8 provides new Formatting logic allied with FTForm Plus, allows output of XML files built by the formatting logic and a whole host of radically improved functions.
FormTrap continues to run Version 7.5 formatting with the two versions concurrent for the forseeable future. Version 7 will not have future major upgrades, however will be maintained. Where functions from Version 8 are applicable these will be offered as part of the free upgrade for sites under Support and Upgrades.
FormTrap Archive is available with FormTrap 8, for BOTH Version 7 and Version 8 forms.
