Data in Lookups
Lookup table entries may be extended to include data fields. This
is excellent practice if only a few key fields are required, and is
especially good for salutations used later in emails.
Insertion of your company name into trailing Terms and Conditions
pages done this way keeps the form lean, increases flexibility and
allows someone else to keep terms and conditions up to date, rather
than IT having to repetitively modify the form.
Data fields are defined as [record/fieldname] directly in
the lookup text.
Lookups with Embedded Data
This shows the field name Select Paragraph ...
... the Lookup Paragraph formula ...
... and lookup table entry for the above formula, which includes
embedded data fields [master/Reply to] and [master/GV
value], which ...
... looks like this when formatted, showing data inserted into the
looked-up paragraph.
Note that data fields inserted into lookup entries are NOT EDITED in any way, ERRORS are entirely on the form developer's head.
